When questions were asked by main contractor Carillion Highways about the robustness of the more commonly used channel systems for highways they had no hesitation in selecting Gatic Ultraslot (F900) for the channel drainage system of their choice on the high profile M6 Carlisle to Gretna widening works.

The single piece 3mtr lengths with integral socket meant that long lengths of channel could be installed extremely quickly - especially important when working to tight deadlines and minimising lane closure disruption to passing traffic.

Once installed the single piece channels with no moving parts and the minimum number of joints, can be relied upon to remain strong and maintenance free,in this demanding high load, high speed environment.
