With a history of installations dating back more than seventy years, Gatic 2000 is without doubt a fully proven International Standard for engineered access covers and drainage gratings.

The very first Gatic cover was designed by Vivian Elkington in 1928 for The Shell International Petroleum Company who required a gas and airtight cover to provide access to below ground petroleum storage tanks in their garages across the world. The trade name Gatic is actually an acronym for Gas Air Tight Inspection Covers.
